Smitten By You
Friday, September 18, 2015How many times have you been enchanted by someone? How often do you see or talk to a charming guy? Well, for me, it’s very rare. I blame it on the lifestyle I have, but I don’t regret it.
Anyway, there was a certain event where I saw this guy, and he obviously left a mark on my memories. It had been 3,192 hours since I last saw him in person. And just two weeks ago, in the early hours of the morning when I couldn’t sleep, I decided to get my pen and notebook and start writing a poem. It was all about the first day I saw him… and it goes like this………

I thought that day was just normal—
wake up, take a bath, and all.
I went outside for the morning call
and saw new faces, short and tall.
Going near the meeting place,
I felt uneasy and lazy.
“This will be a long day.
I hope everything will be okay,” I prayed.
While walking slowly, I heard you talking,
and as I got nearer, I started trembling.
Standing in front was an eye candy,
and all of a sudden, I felt butterflies in my tummy.
What a beautiful man you are!
My eyes were locked on you.
Seeing those cute eyes and messy hair
gave me the feeling of floating in the air.
“I have a new crush,” I exclaimed!
And I was so happy, excited, and overwhelmed.
One habit will surely stay alive—
staring at you even against my pride.
P.S. I did ask for permission to download some of his pictures, but I got hesitant to post the original one, so I edited it instead. ^_^
